Here are some of the projects we're currently working on.

Bus Shelters

New bus shelters are being installed throughout the METRO service area for accessibility, safety, weather protection and comfort.

Digital Signage

Signs provide riders with real-time arrival information, service alerts, detours and stop closures.

Digital signage affixed to the top of a bus stop pole on the 56 Airline / Montrose route, displaying current time and the next three estimated arrival times for the bus.

METRONext

500 miles of travel improvements to help ease traffic congestion, along with investments in service and accessibility.

METRORail Facility

Centralized facility for maintaining and making repairs along all three METRORail lines for improved efficiency, safety and reliability.

Solar Panel Pilots

Pilot programs at two of our facilities will add solar panels on the car canopies to harness solar energy.
