METRO Rolls Out New Buses to Enhance Your Ride
Your daily commute just got an upgrade! Over the next few months, METRO will roll out dozens of new clean-diesel buses to its fleet, bringing a wave of improvements designed with you in mind.
Replacing aging vehicles is a vital step in METRO’s commitment to improving on-time performance and ensuring reliable service for riders.
When you step aboard the new 40-foot buses, you'll notice the difference immediately. The enhanced interior features expanded wheelchair accessibility and USB charging ports at your fingertips.
Safety remains METRO's top priority. "Our job is to move the people of the city around and get them where they need to be safely, so we've added more cameras to secure the safety of our riders," explains Robert Kelley, vehicle technology specialist at METRO.
These high-performance vehicles aren't just about comfort and safety—they're also helping our environment. Clean diesel buses are equipped with advanced engines and filters that significantly reduce emissions, making them an eco-friendly option for transit.
